About the hotel

The Old Vicarage Hotel is a small family run hotel and restaurant in the beautiful Shropshire Countyside. The Counties only AA Top 200 Hotel & AA 3 Rosette Restaurant.

Each of The Old Vicarage Hotel's individually designed bedroom suites is furnished with a plethora of antiques and knick-knacks. These are carefully chosen to provide that critical balance between opulence and the feeling that here you can make yourself feel really at home. You will find wooden games to help you relax. Choose from bedrooms with a double Jacuzzi (Upgrade from Standard Room 25.00 Inc vat), exposed beams or its own patio area, you will find each has a distinct character of its own.

The Old Vicarage Hotel and Restaurant is located in a quiet and peaceful area of Shropshire, yet close to the towns of Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock & Telford and is Shropshire's only hotel to have received 3 AA red stars and AA 3 food rosettes. Shropshire and the Marches offer a plentiful supply of superb local produce that's full of flavour & guaranteed to inspire our chefs.
Our award winning meals are innovative without being gimmicky and are complimented by a wine list which has the ability to surprise in more ways than one; alongside the usual suspects you'll find the lesser known wines that offer exceptional value for money & an equally adventurous selection of wine by the glass. In the restaurant too we work hard to achieve a fine balance creating an environment that is perfect for a special occasion yet is friendly and relaxed.

By car from the South West: Leave the m5 at Junction 6 (Worcester North) proceed to Kidderminster and Bridgnorth. From Bridgnorth take the a454 in the direction of Wolverhampton. After approx. 2.5 miles turn left at the cross roads and follow the brown directions signs.
By car from the North: Take the m6 and m54. Leave the m54 at Junction 4, travel south on the a442 in the direction of Bridgnorth and Kidderminster. After 8 miles take any of the three left turns to Worfield following the brown signs.
By car from London and the South East: Take either the m1, m6 or m54 leaving at Junction 4, travel south on the a442 in the direction of Bridgnorth and Kidderminster. After 8 miles take any of the three left turns to Worfield following the brown signs
